Getting around Orlando
The best way to get around is by rental car. However, non-drivers can try The I-Ride Trolley Bus, running between SeaWorld and Belz Outlet Mall. The brightly coloured buses of the LYNX public transport company cover almost all of Orlando and hotels provide shuttle services to the parks.
Dining, entertainment and nightlife
Orlando is famous for its 'dinner shows', where restaurants put on a performance while you enjoy your evening meal – expect comedy, cowboys, pirates and more. Or, for a cheap bite to eat, head to the largest McDonalds in the world. If you fancy a dance after your dinner, Universal CityWalk™ and Downtown Disney offer themed bars and clubs all within one area.
Shopping
With seven major malls holding over 700 stores, Orlando has plenty of options for some retail therapy. Around the International Drive area alone, you’ll find the Belz Factory Outlet Mall, Pointe Orlando and Mercado Mediterranean Village. The Mall at Millenia – featuring Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s and many more – is just off the I-4. If you want designer discounts, though, you should make your way to The Factory Stores at Lake Buena Vista.
