Tried and tested

Hiring a car in the US of A is crazy easy. Mandy (from Marketing) hired one in Los Angeles and drove over to Las Vegas via Palm Springs, she says it was ace!

"At LAX we rocked up to the car hire counter, handed over our details and driving licences and after a few taps on a computer we were directed to a parking lot where we got to choose our car."

"Now, my husband is a bit of a car geek and he got a bit giddy about driving a 'real American car' - a Cadillac wasn’t available so his next choice was a convertible Mustang. As much fun as it was driving around LA in the convertible, the long road between LA and Vegas was a bit brisk - let’s just say there was no point brushing my hair that morning!"
