The Big D

Dallas provides visitors with a huge Lone Star State welcome. If you like to eat, you’re in luck as the food scene in Dallas is out of this world, its BBQs being a particular highlight. The city has a terrific selection of museums too. The JFK Museum is highly recommended. Or head to the Arts District for your dose of international masterpieces and sculptures.

Cowboy culture

When to go

The best time of the year to find cheap flights to Dallas is between September and November, when the tourist crowds have calmed down, it isn’t swelteringly hot, and the State Fair of Texas with its live bands and car show is in full swing.
The summer months, between June and August, are high season for flights to Dallas, which means rodeos, baseball games and festivals. The mercury can soar to 45 degrees Celsius and high humidity makes it feel even hotter.
