If you’re getting the train, the station is right inside the airport campus and the terminals are walkable – plus there’s a skylink moving walkway. Flying from Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport has three passenger terminals. Air Transat flights operate from Terminal 1, so if you’re flying direct to Vancouver you’ll be flying from there. You can walk between each terminal – there’s a skylink connecting Terminals 1 and 2, which are about a 15-minute walk away from each other. There’s a covered walkway between Terminals 1 and 3, which are only five minutes apart. In terms of facilities, there are plenty of shops in Terminal 1 as well as the Escape Lounge, which you can pre-book. If you need to get some Canadian Dollars, there are Travelex UK currency exchange services in all three airport terminals.
Landing in Vancouver Airport
Vancouver International Airport is on Sea Island, in Richmond, British Columbia – about eight miles southwest of downtown Vancouver. The airport is made up of one big inter-connected terminal with Domestic, Transborder and International sections.
