Diagon Alley™

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

The magic of Harry Potter™ for us muggles™ is weaved right across the parks at Universal Orlando, but here at Universal Studios Florida in Diagon Alley™ you can explore three different experiences more thrilling than not knowing what flavour Bertie Bott’s All Flavour Beans you’re going to get.

Attractions

at Diagon Alley™

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™

A multi-dimensional thrill that’s part dark ride, part roller coaster, and part 4D extravaganza – basically, a thrill-seeker’s dream wrapped in a golden goblin vault. In a near-perfect replica of the goblin-run institution (think towering marble columns, glistening chandeliers, and eerily lifelike goblins), you’re supposedly a visitor on a totally normal tour of the bank. But, surprise! Just like in the movie, things go wildly off course, and you find yourself caught in the middle of a showdown between Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Harry & Co.

Once you hop into your mine cart, you’re launched into an underground labyrinth of twisting tracks and fiery special effects. Expect sudden drops, sharp turns, and a few weightless moments as you dodge trolls, Death Eaters, and, of course, the ever-terrifying Bellatrix, who is not happy you’re snooping around her vault.

Hogwarts Express: King’s Cross Station™

From the outside, King’s Cross looks exactly like its London counterpart, complete with brick architecture, old-school signage, and an air of bustling British realism. Universal’s attention to detail is borderline obsessive, from the weathered ticket booths to the vending machines stocked with “Muggle” snacks (sorry, no Chocolate Frogs here).

Inside, you’ll navigate through the station, passing luggage trolleys and overhead announcements as you approach Platform 9¾. Once through, the Hogwarts Express awaits in all its steam-belching, crimson-coloured glory. The train ride itself is an attraction, with different journeys depending on which direction you’re traveling. Head from London to Hogsmeade and you’ll see the countryside, a Dementor scare, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione (voiced by their actual actors!), whilst if you do the trip in reverse, you’ll pass Malfoy Manor, encounter some mischievous creatures, and finally arrive at King’s Cross.

But the best thing about this experience? If you’ve got a Park-to-Park ticket, then you can actually use the train to travel between Diagon Alley™ in Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade Village™ over at Universal Islands of Adventure – how nifty is that?!

Dining & Shopping

at Diagon Alley™

The Leaky Cauldron™

A cozy, dimly lit, and delightfully immersive pub that serves up hearty British fare with a side of pure wizarding charm. If you’ve ever dreamed of sipping a Butterbeer under rustic wooden beams while feeling like you’ve just stepped into the pages of Harry Potter, this is the spot.

It  specialises in traditional British dishes, all served on rustic plates that make you feel like you’re dining straight out of The Daily Prophet’s “Best Pubs in Diagon Alley” guide. Try the Toad in the Hole and Beef, Lamb, and Guinness Stew.

Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour™

Pure, creamy magic in a cone. The shop itself is tucked into the bustling heart of Diagon Alley, with a pastel-coloured, old-fashioned aesthetic that feels like a mix between an English sweet shop and a 1920s ice cream parlor. And they don’t just serve ordinary ice cream – it serves wizarding ice cream, meaning you’ll find flavours here that are as creative as a Weasley prank. Think Butterbeer, Chocolate Chili, and Earl Grey & Lavendar.

Ollivanders™

The shop is dark, dusty, and packed floor to ceiling with thousands of wand boxes, all stacked haphazardly like they’re just waiting for the right wizard to walk in. Plus there’s that slightly musty, old-wood scent that makes the place feel ancient. If you’re lucky (pr just time it right), you can take part in Ollivanders’ legendary wand choosing ceremony.

Even if you don’t get picked for the ceremony, you can still buy a wand of your own – Interactive Wands that come with a map of Diagon Alley & Hogsmeade and let you cast spells at special locations throughout both areas, and Collector’s Wands, that are beautifully crafted, non-interactive versions, perfect for display.

Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes

This vibrant, over-the-top joke shop is a shrine to the mischief-making genius of Fred and George Weasley, packed with magical pranks, joke sweets, and just the right amount of reckless fun. If you’re the kind of person who thinks life could use a little more controlled chaos, this is your dream shopping spot. Some of the best finds include Skiving Snackboxes, Pygmy Puffs, and Extendable Ears.

Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions

Step inside Madam Malkin’s, and you’ll immediately feel like you’ve walked into a high-end magical tailor shop. The interior is elegant and warm, with soft golden lighting, polished wood displays, and rich fabrics draped across the walls. Here you can buy Hogwarts School Robes, House Sweaters & Cardigans, and even Dress Robes.

Borgin and Burkes

Unlike the cheerful chaos of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes or the refined elegance of Madam Malkin’s, Borgin and Burkes feels decidedly different—like a place where secrets linger, and objects might just whisper to you when no one’s looking. Pick up Death Eater Mask, a Vanishing Cabinet Replica, The Cursed Opal Necklace, or Tom Riddle’s Diary.

Illumination’s Minion Land

“Tonight, we steal… the mooooon!”

This immersive land transports guests into the whimsical world of the Minions, offering a blend of attractions, dining, and entertainment that captures the essence of Illumination’s beloved characters.

Attractions

at Illumination’s Minion Land

Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast

This action-packed, interactive attraction throws you straight into Villain-Con, the ultimate gathering of the world’s most evil masterminds (as seen in Minions: The Rise of Gru). Your mission? Prove your worth to the infamous “Vicious 6” by blasting your way to the top of the villainous leader board.

Unlike traditional rides, Villain-Con Minion Blast doesn’t have seats or ride vehicles. Instead, you stand on a moving walkway, giving you freedom to turn, aim, and fire at targets all around you. As you move through different sections of Villain-Con, you’ll fire at targets, enemies, and obstacles, racking up points to prove you’re villain material.

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem

A 3D motion simulator ride where you join Gru’s family for a heartwarming but wacky adventure, all while being “minionised.” It all starts in Gru’s Laboratory, where there’s a surprise for you: he’s going to make you an official Minion. But things don’t go as planned (obvs). The Minions’ usual shenanigans take over as the transformation process goes awry, and chaos erupts in every direction.

Dining & Shopping

at Illumination’s Minion Land

Minion Cafe

Decked out in bold colors and wacky, Minion-inspired details, expect to see oversized banana motifs, quirky signage, and fun little touches – like Minion-sized seating. Yep, the tables and chairs are designed with a playful nod to the Minions’ comically small stature – everything is oversized, fun, and packed with personality.

You can dive into playful dishes like Otto’s Noodle Bowl and Bob’s Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff, each as quirky as the Minions themselves. For dessert, try the Minion Pops.

Bake My Day

Not just any bakery, this is a Minion-ified dessert paradise. Try everything from Minion Cookies and Donuts to Banana Cream Pies. Plus, there’s some unique Minion-themed merch available to buy too.

Super Silly Stuff

The perfect place to grab Minion-themed souvenirs, clothing, and gadgets. We’re talking Minion t-shirts, hats & hoodies, and everything from tiny Minion keychains to giant stuffed Minions – even Agnes’ Fluffy Unicorn Plush

And this wouldn’t be a Minion shop without banana… everything. Banana scented candles, banana mugs, and more.

The Simpsons Ride

Hop aboard this motion simulator adventure with mahoosive IMAX-style screens, where you’ve been invited to Krustyland, a cheap, questionably safe amusement park built by none other than Krusty the Clown. But, in true Simpsons fashion, chaos strikes when Sideshow Bob escapes from prison and hijacks the park, bent on getting revenge on Krusty and the Simpsons.

What starts as a simple roller coaster ride quickly turns into a dangerous, over-the-top chase through Krustyland, Springfield, and beyond, as Sideshow Bob tries to destroy you in the most ridiculous ways possible. Falling from the sky? Check. Crashing through Springfield? Check. Getting attacked by a radioactive Maggie the size of Godzilla? DOUBLE CHECK.

Before the ride even starts, you’ll walk through a hilarious queue area designed like Krustyland itself, filled with spoof carnival games, posters, and TV screens showing classic Simpsons clips. You’ll hear Krusty’s obnoxious voice, meet Itchy & Scratchy, and get some classic Simpsons-style sarcasm before boarding.

Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl

This whacky, Simpsons-style take on a classic aerial spinner puts you in the middle of a ridiculous intergalactic invasion, led by the show’s infamous green, tentacled aliens – Kang and Kodos.

The story? Kang and Kodos have lured you into their diabolical spaceship fleet as part of their plan to obliterate Earth. Your mission? Twirl and hurl (literally) as you zap recognizable Simpsons characters while spinning through the air.

It’s all very over-the-top and ridiculous, in true Simpsons fashion.

Dining & Shopping

at Springfield, U.S.A.

Frying Dutchman

This quick-service seafood restaurant is a real-life version of the infamous all-you-can-eat seafood joint, run by none other than the grumpy and  cheap Captain Horatio McCallister. Expect a nautical, weathered shack-style design, just like in the show, with a suitably fishy menu that serves up everything from calamari (not responsible if it fights back) to clam chowder 🍲 (served without any lawsuits from Captain McCallister… hopefully.)

Duff Brewery

This outdoor bar and beer garden serves up exclusive, real-life versions of Duff Beer, Springfield’s most iconic fictional brew. Sip on a classic Duff, a fruity Duff Lite, or the extra-strong Duff Dry.

This beer is actually exclusively brewed by Universal and is only available at the park, meaning you can’t buy it anywhere else in the world.

Kwik-E-Mart

From the outside, the Kwik-E-Mart looks exactly like it does in the show -complete with the neon sign, fake advertisements, and a familiar blue-and-red colour scheme. Inside, the shelves are lined with Simpsons-inspired products, like Squishees (the Simpsons version of a Slurpee and the ultimate theme park cool-down treat), real-life Buzz Cola, and Lard Lad Donuts.

This area transports you to the Big Apple, featuring iconic NYC-inspired facades like Greenwich Village (complete with classic brownstone buildings), Times Square (think bright signs and flashy storefronts), and Lower Manhattan (all about industrial-style buildings and waterfront views).

This towering coaster dominates Universal’s skyline, featuring a completely vertical lift hill, near-miss elements, and high-speed twists – all set to a soundtrack YOU get to choose.
Before the ride starts, you’ll select a song from a secret touchpad on your seat, and that track will blast through speakers built into your headrest. It’s like having a personal roller coaster music video, and the song choices make the ride completely different each time.
A fun thing to note about this ride is its huge loop, but instead of going upside down, the track twists at the top, so you stay right-side up – this is one of the only coasters in the world with this kind of loop!

Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to race through the streets of New York City in a high-speed, futuristic cart with Jimmy Fallon”, then congratulations – you’re strangely specific, and this ride is exactly what you need. A a wacky, fast-paced motion simulator ride that takes you on a ridiculous Tonight Show-style adventure through the Big Apple, complete with flying pizzas, subway tunnels, and even a trip to the moon.

One of the coolest things about this attraction is that the waiting area is part of the show. Instead of a long, boring line, you get to explore 30 Rock (NBC Studios), hang out in The Tonight Show museum, and watch live entertainment, like the Ragtime Gals, a hilarious barbershop quartet.

Revenge of the Mummy

Revenge of the Mummy will take you on an adrenaline-pumping ride through an ancient Egyptian tomb, filled with fire, darkness, and supernatural thrills. It’s half roller coaster, half haunted house – and one of Universal Studios Florida’s best dark ride experiences.
As you enter the ride, you’re greeted by a mix of creepy animatronics, special effects, and cursed hieroglyphics. The queue is full of twists, turns, and creepy set pieces, leading you to the ride vehicles. The moment you step into the ride car, the dark adventure begins, and you’re swiftly pulled into the wrath of Imhotep.

TRANSFORMERS: The Ride 3D

Transformers: The Ride 3D throws you right into the heart of a mega battle between the Autobots and Decepticons – and you’re part of the action. You’re recruited as a NEST (Nonbiological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty) agent to help defend Earth. You’ll board your own Autobot, EVAC, and set off on an epic chase through the streets of a war-torn city.
